Just come back from lunch with a family at Carminul Felix. This is a Chroistian organisation that has been running for 25 years which provides extended families for orphaned children. Since they have begun they have provided a family for more than 400 children - many of whom have now grown up, got married, set up their own homes, with jobs and some have their own children. Our host, Mihai Bulc, runs tow football teams with children from Carminul Felix as well as a state orphanage. Wonderful to see and hear about the work that is being done in the name of Christ - www.cfacademic.ro.

ReplyDeleteI read through the blog and see the Lord is moving with power from town to town, city to city. I also understand that there is still much to do, so may I share with you Isaiah 60:1 - Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. As you host His presence and light into those places of need, may the people come to know God's love for them, that His presence is always with them, and that He is a gracious provider and healer.
We thank you for your prayers for us at the 2/20 Conference this weekend. It has been a challenging & tiring few days for many, but Gary, Avril and all who attended have been blessed by a wonderful team of teachers who were brave, stretched our thinking and encouraged our engagement in all the sessions over the 3-days.

Thanks Terry. Yes, let's pray that the light of Christ will shine brightly amongst the ACV Apprentices and that many will come to know Him as their Lord and Saviour.
